wie schon gesagt da es auf der psp rauskommt und noch nie ein KH teil auf der psp rausgekommen ist ...ist man sich jetzt nicht sicher obs jetz doch deutsche sync ist oder nicht

New Nomura Interview: BbS Western Release, Future of KH

Hello everyone! FF and KH blog FF-Reunion has posted up the details of Nomura's latest interview with Famitsu, where he drops details about changes that might be made in the Western release of Birth by Sleep, as well as hints into the future of the Kingdom Hearts series:

-- Now we can’t help but think on what the next game in the series is going to be like.

Nomura: First we have to get “Birth by Sleep” to the West (laugh) Everything with that has already bee decided for the most part. We are thinking about added a Critical Mode, and making bosses we thought were a bit weak stronger. And since Megaflare was too strong, we’ll have to adjust that. Some of the event scenes we’re going to change back to the way they were, and we’ll adjust some scenes so that the story is more easily understandable.

-- Since you’ll be changing so much, does that mean we can expect a Final Mix?

Nomura: Well, first we’ll have to see just how much it becomes different from the domestically released version. But we’d really like to be able to release one “Kingdom Hearts” game a year. We don’t want several years to go by without there being anything.
-- In two years it will be the 10th anniversary for the series. Will we have KHIII by then?

Nomura: No no, we’re going to keep that one a secret (laugh). Like I said before, we still have to release “Mystery” game that will connect the series.

-- Can you currently say whether the series will end with the third game, or anything else about it?

Nomura: “Kingdom Hearts” is Sora’s story, but the series that we’re developing now is also the story of one other person. You could say that it is a series where that person is the core.

-- The series you’re developing now!?

Nomura: I can’t say anything more than that (laugh).

Hello, everyone!

Today is the day that thousands upon thousands of Kingdom Hearts fans have been waiting for, and we're not reporting one exciting story, but two. First of all, the North American teaser site for Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep has been put up on the Internet and can be found here. While there is currently only one item of content on the site at the moment, it is assumed that more will be added in the months that lead to the game's North American release.

The second piece of news is definitely the most exciting at the moment and has been awaited by the game's loyal fan base: Square Enix has today officially announced Birth by Sleep for North America. The source is Square Enix's North American site; the article for the game's announcement can be found here, but we've copied and pasted the part that mentions the game's release.

LOS ANGELES (March 16, 2010) — Square Enix, Inc., the publisher of Square Enix® interactive entertainment products in North America, announced today that KINGDOM HEARTS Birth By Sleep will be released in North America this Summer. Coming exclusively to the PSP® (PlayStation®Portable) system, the game is a prequel that reveals the untold origins of the popular KINGDOM HEARTS franchise.

Richard Epcar to Reprise Xehanort in Birth by Sleep

Hey, guys!

Phew, today is a news-filled day here at KHInsider, as we have yet another piece of news that will surely please you. Richard Epcar — who voiced Xehanort and Xehanort's Heartless (Ansem, Seeker of Darkness) in Kingdom Hearts II, its final mix, Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories and Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days — will be returning in the up-and-coming English version of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep as Xehanort. Because this is spoiler-ish, please see the spoiler tags located here for more details.

Thanks to one of our forum members, Richard Epcar confirmed somewhat indirectly that he would be voicing Xehanort, as the screenshot below shows. It is spoiler-ish, so please beware.

[UPDATE]Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep: Square-Enix enthüllt neue Details zur West-Fassung

Lang, lang ist's her - die letzte News zu Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep liegt doch schon ein Weilchen zurück, und jetzt bricht Square Enix endlich das Schweigen zur westlichen Fassung des Spiels! So wird es neben sogenannten "Crown Stickers" (dt. in etwa "Kronensticker") und erweiterten Multiplayer-Features auch einen weiteren Zusatzboss geben! Wer das wohl sein wird?

Außerdem kündigte Square Enix außerdem an, dass das Spiel im Sommer in den USA erscheinen wird. Zwar ist das noch immer ein sehr vager Zeitraum, allerdings passt das in den vom Gameinformer angegebenen Zeitraum zwischen Juni und August. Zu einem Europa-Release wurde allerdings noch nichts gesagt.

UPDATE: Square Enix hat soeben in einer Pressemitteilung (englisch) einen Europa-Release für Sommer 2010 angekündigt! Lest die Presse-Mitteilung unter "Weiterlesen"!
