Prey
A new update for Prey v1.02 (previously v0.5 beta update) is now available via Steam – see below for instructions.
The Steam update v1.02 includes:
- Fix to prevent Save games from becoming corrupted. Fix also returns corrupted Save games to uncorrupted state.
- Also addresses some additional crashes on map loads.
- Hacking during the Power Plant reboot no longer causes the reboot to fail to complete.
- Fix to prevent the Player from becoming stuck in certain circumstances.
- Nightmares will now always search for the player once spawned.
- Saving and Loading PC settings will now save correctly for users with special characters in their Windows usernames.
- Numerous fixes to GLOO to prevent breaking and bypassing collision, prevent corpses from passing through walls and floors.
- Updated Recycling to prevent infinite material creation.
- Fix for occasional combat freeze when attacking Phantoms
- Kaspar’s objective indicator should no longer disappear.
- Updates to audio mix to adjust volume of music, audio logs, cutscenes.
- Note - If a Save file has been previously edited manually, it may not function properly.
Deletion of level.dat files may cause game progression to not function properly.
Console updates will be coming shortly, we're aiming for next week.

- Items should no longer be incorrectly deleted from inventory or world when changing levels.
- Fix for stamina not recovering.
- Fix for being unable to repair items.
- Player should no longer spawn out of level.
- Fabricated weapons are now empty.
- Fix for humans incorrectly turning hostile. Hostile humans in lobby will be returned to friendly.
- End game credits now always skippable.

- Tracking bracelets are now sent to Recycler with “Transfer all Junk”

Patch Notes for Upcoming Update 1.05
- [PS4 ONLY] Fixes to address screen-tearing/stuttering
- Player can no longer become blocked from rebooting Power Plant for the "Reboot" mission after killing the Technopath in Life Support.
- Fixed crash when mimicking bass guitar in the Yellow Tulip.
- Extra items gained through passive neuromods, such as organs and tumors from Necropsy or spare parts through Dismantle, will now properly stack in the player's inventory automatically.
- Loading a save from a previous version of the game will no longer remove all quests and inventory, or break the HUD.
- Fix for some AI-related crashes.
- Various combat tweaks/fixes for mimics.
- Opening the TranScribe will no longer disrupt FoV settings.
- The light on top of a turret will no longer become detached when the player jumps and glides while holding it.
- Approaching areas with Coral should no longer cause the client to stutter and eventually freeze.
- Operator corpses from saves made on previous builds will no longer cause performance issues.
- Repair II and III increase efficiency with suit patch kits. Reduced suit damage from enemies on easy and normal difficulty.
- Increased wrench range and strength of melee aim assist. Wrench now always staggers mimics (interrupts attacks). Mimics stand further back to prevent players having to look down too much.
- Stun Gun now tells the player when a target is out of its effective range. Weapons will display a "Weapon Offline" when disabled by EMP.
- Hepatocytic Amp S-m186 chipset now properly only removes the negative effects of the "Drunk" debuff
- Player will now spawn in the correct location when traveling from Shuttle Bay to other locations.
- Fixed rare crash when level transitioning to Life Support.
- Reployers no longer lose collision when recycling them, and then loading a save where they were present.
- Player can no longer bypass ceiling collision by mantling GLOO.
- Danielle now voices the correct response to the player's actions with the Cook during the endgame sequence.
- The fabricated coral detector chipset and the quest-given chipset now both function correctly to scan the coral when installed
- Fix for rare freeze/crash when in combat with Phantoms.
- The Luther Glass quest will no longer incorrectly complete and fail after the player has already completed the quest in Trauma Center.
- Lights are no longer sometimes incorrectly 'on' when the player enters the Cargo Bay for the first time
- Igwe will no longer be found in Cargo Bay when the 'meet January' call is triggered.
- Mimic's wall jump attack animation is cancelled if they are stunned.
- Treasure Hunt now lists an objective and marker to return to Abigail's workstation once all the maps are investigated.
- The nightmare in the Arboretum is now able to get into the greenhouse and use ranged attacks on the player from the doorway.
- Turrets can now be hacked properly if they've been previously controlled by the Technopath.
- If the player manages to fully GLOO the greater mimic while it is in mid-lunge toward the player's face, the facegrab animation will no longer play and trap the player.
- Hitting a stunned Phantom with the wrench no longer breaks their animations
- Raised phantoms and operators will no longer become hostile to the player when attaching grenades to them.
- Various crash fixes
- Various text fixes.

Hab mir vor paar tagen das Spiel geholt und ich finde es Top.
Es wirkt als hätte man das beste aus meinen Lieblingsshootern genommen und liebevoll neu interpretiert.

Hab noch ein ganzen Stapel Games die ich erst beenden müsste
Hab letztens einen Speedrun-Clip gesehen, der gute Herr hat es in 3min geschafft O_o
Seid ihr eigentlich auch solche Speedrun-Gamer?
Schonmal ausprobiert (Game egal)?

Mein einziger Speedrun war bei Resident Evil 4. Knappe 2 Stunden habe ich damals gebraucht. Ist lange her.

Ist derzeit für 13€ noch was digital erhältlich. Ich finde es dann doch ziemlich gut.
Spielt es nur auf dieser Raumstation? Ist es rein visuell dann nicht ein wenig eintönig? Aber wie gesagt - ist irgendwie anders als andere "Shooter" (obwohl es ja keiner sein soll) und ziemlich komplex. Bin gespannt was da noch so kommt.

Meine ich auch. Die Demo damals (man konnte dass Spiel eine Stunde lang spielen) hat mich wirklich nicht überzeugt. Vor allem dieses Musiksample, welches wohl Spannung erzeugen sollte, ging mir auf die Nüsse. Jedes mal wenn ein Mimic auftauchte... zum Glück ist das rausgepatcht worden.
Ansonsten hat man enorm viele Möglichkeiten. Das Recycling gefällt mir

Habs nun ENDLICH mal angespielt. - Kp was ich eigentlich erwartet habe ... das aber aktuell, was ich da bekomme, irgendwie nicht.
Das ist aber keineswegs schlimm, find das alles vollkommen interessant und hab mich richtig drin verloren. Besonders die Atmosphäre bekommt mich, da ich ab und zu schon angespannt bin. Werds die Tage definitiv weiter und auch zu Ende spielen.

Mein jetziges Fazit wäre: gutes Spiel. Man sieht bei der 79er Metacritic Wertung mal wieder, dass viele gute Spiele dadurch zu unrecht übersehen werden.
Hat aber trotzdem so einige Dinger, die mich nerven. Die Hauptmissionen ziehen sich am Ende etwas, weil man immer von A nach B in der Station laufen muss und A und B auch oft die größtmöglichen Distanzen im Spiel haben.
Bin mal gespannt, was da am Ende nun noch so kommt - ich werde nun nochmal beide Hauptmissionstränge beenden, weil sich das durch die Save States gut anbietet und weil ich schauen möchte, wie unterschiedlich die Enden wirklich sind.

So - Spiel beendet. Mir alle Enden einmal angeguckt (wobei es hier keine Variation gibt). Der Epilog, welche am Ende vor dem Finale schon angeteased wird, wird lustigerweise durch das verfrühte Ende der Nebenmission mit der Fluchtkapsel schon geteased (habe die nämlich gemacht um die Trophy zu bekommen ).
Ansonsten - schönes Spiel von Arkane Austin gewesen. Hat echt Bock gemacht und definitiv eher ein Geheimtipp aufgrund der Wertungen bei Opencritics und Co. (obwohls eigentlich ja ein Kritikerliebling ist).
Schade, dass die wohl so keine weiteren Spiele mehr herstellen werden ... danke MS und Xbox dafür.
Ich wusste gar nicht, dass du aus Magdeburg kommst. Schön, dass es euch gut geht!
