Was hat denn die Gow-Box neu gekostet? Also bei mir hat sie damal 36,50€ gekostet, aber da war sie schon länger raus. Vielleicht kostet die SotC- und Icobox auch so umdie 40? Naja, muss man wohl warten.

Releasetermin durchgesickert?

Schenken wir den Angaben des Händlers GameStop Glauben, dann könnte die “Team Ico Collection” früher erscheinen, als man zunächst angenommen hat. So nahm man die Sammlung nun ins Sortiment auf und listet diese für einen Release am 5. April, was darauf hindeutet, dass es auch hierzulande in knapp drei Monaten so weit sein wird.

Liegt vielleicht daran daß die Währung in Shanghai nicht Yen sondern Chinesischer Renminbi (CNY) ist.

490 Yuan = ca 52,80€ (Wechselkurs von 0,1079 am 24.03.2011)

Zum Release dauerts wohl noch etwas.
Es ist die Rede von Holiday 2011, das heißt fast Weihnachten.
Play.com meint aber auch den 7.11.2011 nennen zu können, was mehr als ein Platzhalter sein könnte.

Sony had previously announced at the 2010 Tokyo Game Show that it’s set to release two of its classic and successful titles in Playstation 2 – Ico and Shadow of the Colossus for Playstation 3.
The planned release was supposedly set on Spring of this year.
However, it seems that gamers need to wait a little longer.

Ico and Shadow of the Colossus: The Collection for PS3 is one of the most anticipated game titles for 2011.
According to game blogs, Sony may not be able to meet the said deadline – due to still unexplained reasons.
We have yet to confirm the said information since Sony hasn’t made any official announcement yet regarding this matter.
Apparently, a KMart rep told the gaming website, cheapassgamer, that the release of the collection will be pushed to Holiday 2011.
Which means that gamers may need to wait until Christmas before they can purchase the game.

Aside from being in high definition (HD), the Ico and Shadow of the Colossus will boast PlayStation Network trophies and support for 3D-o-vision.
The games will be running at 30fps and developers said that the game has gone through “extensive re-texturing”.
The game will be on a single Blu-ray disc for its release in North America and Europe while both titles will be released individually in Japan.

Top Story: ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD may be delayed




This morning's Top Story is the rumor that the eagerly-awaited ICO and Shadow of the Colossus remakes may have been delayed to the holiday season.

A post by someone claiming to be a Kmart rep over on Cheap Ass Gamer estimates that the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD collection for PS3 will actually drop some time later than anticipated -- during the holiday period of this year, rather than the previously-assumed springtime release date.


The individual post by itself isn't very much to go on and we only have the assurance of "SHC-Gamer" that he is an official Kmart/Sears rep.
It's also worth considering the fact that Kmart and Sears aren't typically the first place you'd think to go for release date information.
A little investigation turns up a few pieces of evidence which could support his claims, however.
The UK's Play.com lists the collection as being available on November 7, 2011, which is rather too specific to be a placeholder date.
Amazon.com, on the other hand, lists it as available on December 31, 2011 which is a date typically used as a placeholder by Amazon when the specific release date isn't known.
GameStop, conversely, doesn't list a date at all, and Walmart, who accidentally revealed a possible April release date back in September of last year, no longer lists a date either.
Searching for "Shadow of the Colossus" on Sears' site brings up, among other things, a charming vintage poster of a bodybuilder and no sign of the game in question.
Not quite the kind of "colossus" we were after.

The release of the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus HD collection has been interpreted by many as an attempt to reignite excitement in Team ICO's work prior to the release of their next game, The Last Guardian.
If the rumor of the collection's delay turns out to be true, though one of two things will happen.
Either the ICO/Shadow of the Colossus collection will drop very close to The Last Guardian's "late 2011" release date announced at TGS last year --potentially hurting sales of both -- or The Last Guardian will also be delayed until next year.
Releasing the collection during the busy holiday period, too, would mean there's a chance it would get lost in the "rush."
A lot of people have been waiting very patiently for this pack -- so how much longer will they have to wait?
There's been no official word from Sony on the matter as yet.

Für Japan hat die Collection einen Release bekommen.

Ich weiß gerade nicht ob es schon bekannt ist, aber es gibt einen Trophy-Support.
Und eine Collectors Edition wurde auch bekannt gegeben, für Japan.



Darin enthalten sind die beiden Spiele, eine Special Box, ein 100 Seiten Booklet mit Bildern vom Magazin BRUTUS und ein Dynamic Theme für die PS3.
Ob sowas auch für die EU geplant ist, wurde nicht erwähnt.

Sony has posted on the PS Blogs the dates for the HD collection of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus.


September 27 in the US for $39.99 and September 28 in Europe. The EU PS Blog didn’t list a price for the disc which contains both games.
The collection was previously dated for September 22 in Japan.
