September vorgestellt.

Tokyo Game Show 2010: The 3rd Birthday und Kingdom Hearts Re:coded spielbar

Re:coded Set for Europe Feb 2011?
Hey, guys! http://l-userpic.livejournal.com/58300350/1198071As a European myself (living in England) I understand the pain of European Kingdom Hearts fans when we get the games in the series later than our American friends (or not at all if you look to Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories). What with the near-release of the Nintendo DS remake Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, I have to say I'm really pumped for the European release of the game which will find its way to our shores some day... or perhaps quicker than we thought?
Over at British gaming chains GAME and Gamestation they've already begun advertising the game and have put a price on it--and more interestingly, GAME has set a 'release date' of February 2011 whilst Gamestation has set theirs to 2010. Personally, I think that Gamestation's is in accordance with the Japanese release, but GAME's is intriguing since it could spell a universally-European release of February. Though these are more than likely to be place-holder dates and have not been officially confirmed, I'd like you to share your thoughts on our forums.

The Making of Birth by Sleep - Animation
Hey everybody!
The latest entry of 1UP.com's Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep Developer Blog is now up. Koji Hamada, animation director for the game, details his role in the process below--
An animator's main duty is to breathe life into the characters and gimmicks in the game by giving them movement. This includes everything from crafting the motions for the main, Disney and enemy characters (like the Unversed), to objects like jumping platforms and street lamps that shake when they're hit.
It's intriguing to hear about the slightly more obscure aspects of what it takes to create a video-game, don't you think?

Kein Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep für PSP go

Oktober 2010 in Japan!

BbSFM Scans, Screens & Info + Re:coded Scans & Screens!
Hi, everyone. Lots of news for you today, Kingdom Hearts fans! Due to FF sky and TGbus, we have more scans on the Final Mix of Kingdom Hearts Birth by Sleep which you may talk about here on the forums. I've put them in video form for you below.
Source: FF-Reunion
~♥~ On the topic of screens, you're probably very used to seeing them now; it'll come no shock to you to learn that Famitsu has dished us with quite a few new ones featuring Terra engaged in battle with the fan-coined "Mysterious Figure", new additions to mini-games and, most excitingly, the heavily anticipated figure in armour. Check them out below; otherwise, you can come to our forums and see the translations that our translator krexia has provided! (Thanks to Amoriel for the info.)
~♥~ Thirdly, HEARTSTATION has also posted some info on a recent interview with Tetsuya Nomura, series director, that you may not have heard. Here are some snippets concerning the new additions of the Final Mix, which you may read in full on our forums thanks to forum member KeybladeJ800. Out of the new additions, the biggest is probably the boss battle with the person wearing an Organization coat from the North American version. [...] A number of additional bosses were added. [...] The armored character [is] even stronger than the man in the Organization coat. [...] When Director Nomura played against it, he lost every time; [it's] the strongest enemy of all the additional bosses. [...] As for the additional Secret movie, it’s still secret.
Hm, very thought-provoking indeed? Who is this armoured character and what makes him so much more difficult than the fan-coined "Mysterious Figure", or more simply, the man in the Organisation coat? What's in the new secret movie? We hope to hear your thoughts!
---
~♥~ http://images.khinsider.com/CodedScreens/09.25.2010.HB1.jpg
Welp, with only a matter of a couple of weeks until Kingdom Hearts Re:coded hits Japanese shelves, Famitsu has really been dishing out on the juicy gossip and this time it's in the form of screens! There are 23 this time involving shots of the menu, the System Matrix and even the Scratch Card -- but most excitingly we get to see a fairly thought-inducing image of Bug-covered Riku as pictured above? What's going on here? Who's causing it? Will Riku ever wake up? Tell us on our forums! But of course, we've uploaded the screens to our new YouTube channel for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy!
Thanks go to Famitsu and FF-Reunion.
~♥~ And finally, the Re:coded scans (long update, huh?)! Thanks to FF sky and TGbus we now have our hands on more information on this game; unfortunately it's too blurry to make out but you may look at them as presented in our video below!
As always, you can discuss these scans on our forums! Thanks for sticking with us through this update; I bet your eyes are tired! Until next time, friends!

Re:coded Now ESRB Rated
Hello to all! http://i6.photobucket.com/albums/y250/starcutie264/Icons%20I%20made/July%20Batch%202010/th_Coded27copy2.png
Thanks to Just Push Start, we now know The Entertainment Software Rating Board - responsible for the regulation and proper age rating for video games in North America and Canada - have recently finished giving Kingdom Hearts Re:Coded the once-over. Read below to hear what they have to say about the game, and come over our forums to talk about it and a whole lot more!
Rating: Everyone 10+ Content descriptors: Fantasy Violence
Rating summary: This is an action role-playing game in which players control a character named Sora, who must navigate a series of virtual fantasy worlds to decipher a hidden message. Players mostly use magic spells and a large key-shaped sword to strike and slash at creatures and classic Disney villains (e.g., Maleficent, Hades, Jafar). Some levels allow players to engage in top-down turn-based battles or traverse through side-scrolling levels while firing magic spells at waves of flying enemy creatures. Characters react to damage by grunting/crying out in pain or bursting into small orbs.

New KHIII and BBSFM Info!
Hello everybody!
A new interview with Kingdom Hearts series director/creator Tetsuya Nomura reveals some interesting details about not only Birth by Sleep Final Mix, but also the ever elusive title Kingdom Hearts III--
-A mysterious man is introduced.
- This man is not the man in armor.
- As the North American version included new elements, BBSFM will have to match KHIIFM+ in volume.
- In 2 years it will be the 10 year anniversary for KH, and Nomura is thinking he wants to do something to celebrate. However, having KH3 for the 10 year anniversary is impossible no matter how much he'd want to.
Nomura has been busy lately, having added an addendum to the 1UP.com Making of Birth by Sleep Blog. Read it below--
Hi everyone, Nomura again. I hope everyone is enjoying KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep so far! I’m back for one last blog entry.
Something memorable
When I showed the KINGDOM HEARTS development team in Tokyo the plot for KINGDOM HEARTS Birth by Sleep (something I had put together for the KINGDOM HEARTS team in Osaka) they all told me how much they wanted to make this game.

Famitsu Magazine Gives Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded a 36/40
http://images.khinsider.com/2009-2010%20Avatars/tumblr_l7b10jQtQU1qbnhjfo1_250.pngJust a small tidbit of news. Japanese Famitsu Magazine has already reviewed Kingdom Hearts Re: Coded (Nintendo DS), giving the game a 36/40. For those that do not know, Famitsu magazine has four individuals review each game out of a score of ten, and adds them all together to make a total score of forty. This would give Re: Coded an average score of a 9/10, which is excellent news! We'll have more details, including the breakdown of the four reviews, and the details themselves, soon.

Januar 2011

3D Interview + Re:coded Ultimania + Sales Figures + Site Revamp!
Hi, guys! http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii142/stories_end/eyeofthestorm.png
Four bits of news collated over the last few days for you here. Most importantly is an interview with Tetsuya Nomura in Nintendo Dream on the subject of Kingdom Hearts Re:coded and Kingdom Hearts 3D, posted by the lovely ReBirth Wings. While one of our translators is working on the full thing, here's a passage about Kingdom Hearts 3D by Key to Truth! ☆ The atmosphere in KH3D will be different from other titles. ☆ There will be new worlds. ☆ Re:Coded's ending and BBS' secret movies give hints as to what Sora has to do in future titles. ☆ KH3D will be close to how CoM had a story for Sora and Riku, but it's not like they are going to be separated in this adventure. ☆ Nomura wants to add three new "elements" to KH3D, things that wouldn't be possible to do on any console other than Nintendo 3DS. ☆ Nomura is thinking about more titles apart from KH3D.
Next up is the Re:coded Ultimania! Bent.co.jp give us this piece of news; while there's a summary underneath the Ultimania's cover, it's only a summary of the game. I'm sure most of you by now know Re:coded's plot to some extent.
http://www.bent.co.jp/main/news/20101021.jpg http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii142/stories_end/crush.pngAs you know, Re:coded made its debut in Japan on October 7 2010, which is two weeks ago to the day. It's done amazingly well in terms of sales figures, competing with the insanely-popular Pokémon Black and White whose sale figures were a shocker to be sure. Overall, Re:coded grabbed the fourth place as 4Gamer reports with over 31,000 units sold this week! Take a look at the link above to see how well it did against other games.
http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii142/stories_end/onestepclosertotheedge.pngLast but not least, the Japanese Kingdom Hearts portal site has been completely revamped, and it appears that the individual sites for the individual games that the site links to have also been updated, too! It's been almost a decade since the first game's site was dusted over, so it's nice to see a nice new polish on everything. Is this a sign that Kingdom Hearts will continue for many more days? We hope so! Check it out here!
Thank you for staying with us! You can check out the full interview and read the other pieces of news right here on our fantastic forums!
Due credit for all the news goes to FF-Reunion; of course, we can't forget the creator of the gorgeous avatars used above, LiveJournal user faintscribbles. Adios!
