Eine weitere Möglichkeit ist eyeOS.org:

owever, you can go to eyeos.org, download the mini-server, and use that just as well. It's an entierly web-based OS and it's really easy to get Wii to use it. Once the server is running on a local computer, simply type in ?[ip address of server]:85/index.php?, log in, and TA-DA! Wii OS! Just download and install some packages on your server and you can pipe in music, videos, and more! I love it already, and it's mad easy to develop for because it's all php, flash, xml, html, java, and CSS. I hope interesting things come of this.

TUTORIAL:

This is a tutorial on how to get Wii running eyeOS from your computer as a server. It's a very simple process and soon you should be able to use your Wii for more than just games.

1. go to eyeOS.org and download the Miniserver.
2. Install the Miniserver on the computer you wish to act as your server (it MUST be on the same network as your Wii)
3. Once you get it all squared away, go into your network properties (right click the connection that connects your PC to your network) and select "TCP/IP" from the list shown. Click the properties button and you should see a window come up that will let you set up a few things. For one, you'll want to set up a static IP address. To find the information you need however, you need to go to Start>Run:cmd.
4. When the command console comes up, type in "ipconfig /all" and it will spurt up some information about your network connections. Find the one that connects your PC to your network and fill it into the properties window we're looking at right now. The one that says what you want your IP to be, set it to one in your router's IP address range, which is most likely 192.168.1.2 - 192.168.1.80 (I recomend somewhere between 50 and 80 on the last numbers).
5. Once you do that, check your connection to see if it works. If the connection you changed is the one that brings you online, try going online. If it works, good, you're ready to get going.
6. Make sure the eyeOS server is running on your computer (you'll know by a little green icon next to the system clock. If there isn't one, double click the appropriate desktop icon to start it)
7. Go to the Wii browser and click the WWW icon. Type in the ip address of your server, followed by this:
:85/index.php
This should take you to the eyeOS login page.
8. Login and you should see the desktop in front of you! Congrats!

Ich habe beide Varianten probiert und bin bei eyeOS hängen geblieben, es sind die ersten Schritte über den Opera-Browser...
Aber was nicht ist, kann ja noch werden....
Hilfreich und nützlich (um CD´s zu sparen) ist es allemal.

Das von eyeOS sieht echt nicht schlecht aus.
Das Tutorial hört sich allerdings etwas kompliziert an.Zumindest gegen den WiiCR den ich jetzt laufen hab.

Das werde ich morgen wohl mal antesten müssen

also es ist ca. 10% so "kompliziert" wie WIVCR zu installieren ABER im Moment kein MP3

Das funktioniert ja wirklich sehr einfach.
Ich hab nur noch nicht raus gefunden wo und wie ich auf die Dateien auf meinem Rechner zugreifen kann und wohin ich Programme wie den pdf reader installieren muss.


edit: Das mit dem Nachinstallieren von Programmen funktioniert auch recht einfach.
Nur weiss ich immer noch nicht, wie ich auf meine Dateien am PC zugreifen kann...
