Das Sortiment des Nintendo eShop wächst bekanntlich jeden Donnerstag um einige Downloadtitel. Dennoch werden aus bestimmten Gründen ab und zu einige der Titel aus dem eShop entfernt. Nun stehen erneut sechs Spiele auf der Streichliste, diese werden am 31. März 2012 entfernt. Kauft man sich die Titel noch vor diesem Datum, kann man sie auch nach der Löschung spielen.

Am 31. März 2012 werden aus dem Nintendo eShop entfernt:

- R-Type (TG-16)
- Vigilante (TG-16)
- Ninja Spirit (TG-16)
- Legend of Hero Tonma (TG-16)
- Super R-Type (Super NES)
- R-Type III: The Third Lightning (Super NES)
